PS: Im planning to move them to a bigger pot, so dont worry about the little space for them, in the meantime i want those green leafs to use them for seasoning, i dont want to cut them with scissors because it might make them rot any ideas?

    You always disinfect scissors designated for plants, before cutting anyways: you cut at an angle too.

  2. Scissors should be fine so long as they’re clean. Most people would use hand pruners. I use a pocket knife to cut my green onions. I’m assuming this is green garlic?

  3. is this hardneck? If so wait until it produces a scape. you want those leaves for now so your bulbs actually grow. When you repot I highly recommend investing in decent soil

    Garlic is normally grown directly in the ground, in regular garden soil. They need a cold period to produce cloves, and they do not like transplanting much in my experience.
