    Some of the best sears posted on this sub come from stainless steel pans, cracks me up seeing the occasional *”you need to use cast iron”* advice.

    I just got away stainless steel pan and am going to reverse sear steaks tonight. How is the smoke compared to cast iron? Should I be prepared to set off the smoke alarm again?
