Black Friday completed my end game setup π upgraded from a Turin legato v2 and will most likely have it up for sale soon.
Any Mara x users out there with some tips?

Must haves:
1)A smart switch to turn MaraX before you wake up. Even if you donβt use it, they are cheap and will save wear and tear on the mechanical switch on the machine.
2)A group head thermometer to monitor MaraXβs unique thermal cycle. They market it as walk up and pull a shot and Iβd say this is always true 30 minutes after youβve turned it on or after your last shot. It helps you pull multiple back to back shots because when itβs steam boosting, itβs behaving more like a normal HX by managing the steam boiler temp/pressure rather than the group temp. The temp reading will let you know if you can just brew or if you should give it a big or little flush.
Optional: I also added a Luminaire Shot Timer.
If youβre kinda geeky, you can add a serial to USB cable to observe the debug data from the Gicar controller. This data can show you the target and actual temp readings from the internal sensors.
