In celebration of FAO World Food Day 2025 and the fifteen-year anniversary of the Mediterranean Diet’s recognition as UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage, the Chamber of Commerce of Genoa, in collaboration with the University of Genoa, SINU (Italian Society of Human Nutrition), and the Ligurian Center for Productivity, with the support of the Liguria Region, is organizing a series of high-level, tailored training events for Genova Liguria Gourmet restaurateurs and caterers. The first event took place on November 12 at the IPSEOA Marco Polo, where Genova Liguria Gourmet restaurateurs and caterers prepared a traditional recipe representative of the regional cuisine. The dishes were featured in the “Food Atlas of Ligurian Dishes” – a curated editorial publication and a valuable resource and support tool for nutrition professionals.
