It might be a pizza crime, but it was tasty. The grapes were pickled with jalapeño and spices like mustard seed and cinnamon. Pizza topped with ricotta and mozzarella.

Yeah, I can see that working out, like blueberries and sausage work together on a pizza. And similar pineapple and pepperoni with jalapeños. **But pickling them probably made it top notch.

I can see this working well! Let pizza be pizza

I would never in a million years want to try this, and the toppings choice violates my rules of what belong on pizza, but I can’t actually put it in the crime category. It’s just a “weird” one.

i love pineapple on pizza and i would not be opposed to grapes, i love cheese and grapes so i think this would work for me.

Not a crime, a little sweet on pizza with salty topping is delicious and this looks like quality ingredients that aren’t overwhelming.

I had a pizza once where the base sauce was a roasted grape/kalamata tapenade and it was delightful. Not a crime

I’ve never had a pickled grape. But im a big fan of pineapple on pizza, so this I’d at least try. Not a crime

Pickled grapes are amazing but not on fucking pizza!

Pickled grapes … is that approaching a balsamic or something ?

You had me til the cinnamon part, but hopefully the ricotta balanced it out. I think this could be really good, the sweet/tart would go well with bacon.

Hmm, interesting. I’d try it. I’m intrigued by pickled grapes in general. Didn’t know they were a thing. But of course they are.
