Newbie here, only the second time using my Woodridge Pro. I have a meater probe in a turkey breast and it is reading the ambient temp as 75 degrees lower that the Traeger sensor. Anyone got any tips? Weather outside is sunny and 70 degrees so I don’t think that is a factor

    So the temp sensor on the traeger is in one spot. But the other spots can vary heavily. Especially depending on the outdoor temp.

    Problem is meater and traeger probes are both notoriously bad, so it’s hard to tell what is actually happening. One or both could be accurate, and the difference is just the location of the probes. Or they could both be completely off. Have you done anything to confirm your meater probes? I would put them in a cup with 90% ice and then water and see if it reads close to freezing, and then boils some water and put it in there as well. You can look at what temp your water boils at based on your altitude and see if it is accurate. Usually if they are spot on at freezing and boiling you are good to go.
