I've been wanting to buy my starter espresso gear for a while now. I hear these two are great and they finally went on sale, will this be the best price I'm likely to get?

Probably the best price you’ll get for this combo 👍

Yep, for new units. That being said, Breville sells “re-manufactured” products at its website (stock comes and goes), and currently has the Bambino Plus available (multiple colors) at $334.95, and the Bambino at $199.95; each with a 6-month Breville warranty.

This is what I just got an I’ve spent the last two days trying to dial in and it’s a nightmare.

Was going to go the same setup but switched out the grinder for a Turin sk40 for $170 shipped. Also got the bambino last night at home goods/home sense for $220 if you have one in your area check it out

  5. Just bought the same combo during Black Friday!

Where are you seeing this deal? I’m on the hunt for an encore ESP pro

Yes… but literally bought this and replaced the Bambuno for Bambino Plus (also in a discount). Worth it!

Take a peak at the Gemilai Owl too. I just got my Mom one for a good deal $319. They are attractive and have some additional features (programmable and adjustable settings, along with 3-way solenoid)

Yes! Unless you want to go treasure hunting at Tjmaxx or HomesGoods where I found the Bambino for $239.99 ($10 savings)

I just bought this setup. Got it 2 days ago and trying to dial it all in now. Got my first decent shot today and still have some work to do to get right.

Don’t think you can go wrong with that. My suggestion would be go with a delonghi Stilosa or EC, get a bottomless portafilter with a ims or similar basket, then use the savings to go for a grinder like the DF54. My delonghi has produced better shots than some friends of mine who have setups many times more expensive than mine (gaggia classics, barista express). There is also the ability to upgrade these delonghi now with the gaggiamate type device so there is actually a lot you can do with them. If something ever breaks there’s always cheap parts or used ones for like $15 on Facebook marketplace as well. Honestly I think the delonghi Stilosa or the EC ( the models with a boiler) are the best deals in espresso right now.
