My first time really trying my best for a cake lol, can you tell the fondant gave me a headache? Really proud of it but she's far from perfect

Please don’t take these critiques as negatives, just trying to help a stranger the way someone helped me out once.
It looks like the batter was over mixed and the pan used too big. You can tell because the cake itself is too dense, the outside is overbaked, but the bottom and middle are under baked.
Since the candy doesn’t need to be baked, I’d have used multiple smaller pans, allowed them to cool, and built up the layers, perhaps with a nice filling between each.
