CORNING, N.Y. (WENY) — Corning’s First Presbyterian Church is opening its doors on Christmas Day to anyone looking for company, connection, or simply a warm place to share a holiday meal.
The church will host a short Christmas sing-along at 11:30 a.m., followed by a free holiday dinner served at noon. Organizers say the goal is to make sure no one spends the day alone, especially those who may be separated from family, new to the area or facing a difficult holiday season.
Church members prepare the meal and volunteer their time each year, hoping to create a welcoming space for neighbors across the community.
