The food is always pristine and you can tell the oil used to cook it is always fresh.

Those potato scallops…yum.
That’s disappointing, one sausage and a couple of rashers with a load of cheap fillers doesn’t make a decent fryup, especially at that price.
Pasty (as in pale, not the Cornish food).
It looks like a really good plate of food. Extra plaudits for the plum toms by way of fried slice, they get on well together.
God that’s a blast from the past. Think I was last in there over 20 years ago. I remember those potatoes from then though!
Was it extra to be cooked?
That’s a big plate of food but it appears to be mostly deep fried ageing bread, a deep fried sausage, a lot of briefly deep fried beige potatoes and a few mediocre, boiled, unpeeled, plum tomatoes.
The rest of it looks more appealing but it’s all eclipsed by spud mountain and deep fries.
To be fair that plate looks amazing 👏

This one has got me wondering. I don’t know if I like it or not!? Apart from those tomatoes, maybe too much, what is there looks nice. You can tell the oil is fresh, which makes a big difference.
You wrote “bacon” (singular) so is there only one slice of bacon, and sausages (plural) but I can only see one. Am I missing something justifying the price?
