About 80 percent of the recipe comes from Bravetart's Epic New York Cheesecake on Serious Eats' page. Not sure if I'm allowed to post links but 🤷🏾♂️ ( BraveTart's Epic New York Cheesecake https://share.google/1MAfU0fM357ggmM1P ), the highlight being how tall the cake is compared to other traditional cheesecakes (baked in a 4in deep pan as opposed to the more common 3in deep) and not needing a water-bath. I also paid a little homage to Junior's cheesecake over here in NYC. They have a thin cake layer on the bottom instead of a graham cracker crust. I had leftover banana bread and a dream here… Long story short, yes. Will attempt again to get more even browning on the outside.

I’ve been making cheese cakes for years and never had one that didn’t crack they always taste great though so I’m not complaining. One I made not too long ago didn’t have a crack when it finished, but while cooling in the oven it cracked.
honestly i scrolled past this thinking it was a giant wheel of gouda.. mission accomplished! looks incredible
I need a slice 🍽️
I speak for all of Reddit when I say, you need to bake a cheesecake every day until Reddit says it’s perfect. That’s the rule.
看起來相當美味誘人
