Hi community! This is to share my small victory. This is my mom's very first alfalfa sprouts batch which is her sort of surrender to benefits of plant based nutrition. My mom is very carnivorous 😊 and it took me years to convince her include sprouts in her daily life. I know her very well – now that she sprouted her first alfalfa, she won't stop. For her DIY has always been addictive 😄 and she loved the taste and texture

Wash those sprouts and work out those hulls. Not even your mom wants to be eatin’ those. To get hulls out of alfalfa sprouts with water, place sprouts in a large bowl of cool water, gently swirl to loosen hulls (which float), skim them off, then transfer sprouts to a colander, leaving sunk hulls and seeds behind, and repeat if necessary until clean. Yes!! Your mission succeeded 😄
