Was getting ready to grill and when I went to turn on the propane tank there was a hissing noise. I got the tank a couple weeks ago and the grill itself is only a few months out of the box. Did the soap water test and didn’t see anything finally I moved the line a little and the noise stopped. Clearly there’s a leak what would be the fix for it? Thank you in advance

Did you smell ethyl mercaptan during this?

Check your fittings from grill side of regulator to the tank . Could be a bad regulator not regulating or venting but should still smell gas if it was venting .

Mix some dish soap 50:50 with some water in a spray bottle, spray down all of your connections and watch for a shit ton of tiny bubbles to form, that’s where you’re leaking. If you’re leaking.
