An interesting recipe for Rhubarb Strudel using corn flakes!!!

    An oldie but a goodie!! Who doesn’t love rhubarb? It may be an acquired taste, but it’s super delicious.

    #RHUBARB STRUDEL
    Put a layer of corn flakes in a buttered casserole. Over it place a layer of rhubarb, a little over one-half cup of sugar, and one-fourth teaspoon of grated orange peel. Add another layer of corn flakes and rhubarb, the rest of the sugar, another one-fourth teaspoon of the orange peel, and two tablespoons of orange juice. Sprinkle with corn flakes, dot with butter, and bake at 375 degrees for thirty-five minutes in a covered casserole. Serve cold with cream.

    5 cups corn flakes
    1⅓ cups sugar
    2 tablespoons orange juice
    2½ cups diced rhubarb
    ½ teaspoon grated orange peel
