I have the ThermoPro in the pic, and last week I charged it 100%. After I’m done grilling, I turn it off.
So today I start pressing both buttons and it doesn’t turn on. I asume it’s not charged.
I plug it in. The weird thing is that after 10 minutes it turns on and the battery “gauge” in the screen is full. From the looks of it, it was already charged.
Does anyone know why this is happening? It doesn’t turn on even though it’s 100% charged.

I have a similar Thermopro unit and they’re garbage. Replacing it with a Chief IQ and am looking for better results.
Their customer service is really good.
Will typically replace with little hassle
So weird, I just bought a grill thermometer and couldn’t get it to turn on either. Wondering if the only things left are pre-tariff batteries…
ThermoWorks is the brand you want, I think this is just a cheap Amazon knock off.
I had a similar issue. I plugged it in to charge it, seemed to work fine after that
