I picked my jalapeño today and noticed a small hole at the tip and a black line in the middle of the pepper. Is this a sign of a bug infestation? If so what can I do to prevent more of them?
Thank you

Looks like it’s starting to cork. Just a spicier pepper

Some peppers will have a sunken blossom end which makes it look like a hole, but it’s just the pepper sunken in around where the pistil was. I can’t really make out the texture of the line since it’s a little blurry. Could just be corking like another poster said.

I’ve never had worms in any of the peppers I’ve ever grown and I’ve grown a lot of peppers
