Lancaster-based agency Hotfoot has delivered a new visual identity for Veeno, the independent Italian wine bar group as it sets its sights on national growth.
Veeno, which serves wines sourced directly from the founders’ family vineyard in Sicily alongside Italian small plates and cocktails, commissioned Hotfoot to support plans to scale the brand across the UK.
The refreshed identity is built around a bespoke wordmark influenced by the relaxed style of Veeno’s venues. Hotfoot has also created a wider design system incorporating textured elements, illustrated vineyard motifs and contemporary patterns to improve consistency across the group’s marketing and in-bar experience.

“Our team collaborated closely with owners Nino and Rodrigue to create a contemporary, sophisticated identity that captures authentic Italian vibes, drawing inspiration from the Aperitivo culture we love,” said Fiona Lambert, Creative Lead at Hotfoot. “The result is a modern, polished brand full of Italian warmth, character, and style at the heart of one of the UK’s most exciting independent wine bar groups.”
The work includes a new colour palette, updated typography and a set of brand guidelines and templates to support Veeno’s operational teams as new sites are added.
“Working with Hotfoot Design on our Veeno re-branding was a great experience,” said Rodrigue Trouillet, Managing Director and Co-Founder at Veeno. “They were true partners, expertly guiding us from concept to a final identity that perfectly balances Italian heritage with a contemporary edge. We couldn’t be happier with the strategic and beautiful brand they helped us refine.”
