Hi r/FoodNYC! I’m Jon, the guy running around the city with my wife and a couple friends making New Haven-style pizza out of a couple small ovens. Tomorrow, Tuesday 11/11, we’ll be at Fifth Hammer Brewing (10-28 46th Ave, Long Island City) starting at 5PM, and we'd love to see you there.
We started this popup a year ago this week when I was tired of not being able to get the pizza I grew up with in New Haven, and in honor of our anniversary, we’ll be serving our classic New Haven-style pies, one of our crowd-favorite signature pies, and a seasonal special. Pair it all with Fifth Hammer’s excellent beers and one of the best trivia nights in the city, and you've got a great evening ahead of you!
