I think I waited a little too long to harvest this Daikon radish and then I got impatient and pulled a little too hard and broke it. I was actually only growing it as deterrent for cucumber beetles.

    It will still almost certainly be good to eat at that size. I usually cook these big ones cut into chunks using a Korean or Chinese recipe. Especially tasty in winter.

    It can be made with Chinese-cut pork spare ribs, but I often just buy pork neck bones, since they are easy to find here in the US and relatively inexpensive.
