    Well done OP! When i still worked in an office, I used to participate in the occasional potluck (this was pre-covid).

    I made my twist on a Bahn Mi (Char sue pork and fish sauce pork meatball), and it was a hit.

    I think I spent around $50 on the ingredients and hours of my time to prep. So I can appreciate this spread, I hope your co-workers felt the same.

    I know this sounds like a really old school way to do it, but ya gotta pound out that katsu so it’s thinner. Better innard-to-bread ratio, less spongey to eat, and more uniform thickness 😉
