I sent my boyfriend to the store and he was supposed to get Dona Maria, but this is all they had. I’ve never used this product before (I usually use Dona Maria, the Mexican chocolate and add my own extras like peanut butter, etc.) Any suggestions on how to use this Tenayo product?

Does it have a list of ingredients? Best bet is to taste it and then see what it is you feel is missing.

i thought this was a version of Axe Body spray. the ingredients look pretty good. just be aware that they are funded by an investment group named Maia Wealth.
EDIT: btw i think this is not meant to be used as actual sauce for Mole. it is simply more of a salsa topping for food.

That looks like it’s made to be drizzled over food instead of used like regular mole.
I don’t think it would work with whatever you had planned, but it sounds interesting to try with different stuff. Maybe over flautas for a different take on “enmoladas”. I bet it’s great over fried eggs for breakfast.
So update. I used about 4 cups of chicken broth (boiled with a bunch of onions) and let that cook down for a while. A few hours. Then added some peanut butter and chocolate and let that cook down more. Then it was too peanut-y so I threw a can of enchilada sauce in and let that cook oh and some raisins. And! Almost success. Certainly not what I was hoping for but it’s pretty good considering what I started with.
