The Gobbler, at Poulet Sans Tête on Amsterdam Ave., is a Thanksgiving sandwich dressed with mushroom stuffing and cranberry sauce on a garlic baguette. However, as you might guess from the restaurant's name, it features chicken. As good and juicy as this was, I'd like a good Thanksgiving turkey sandwich (apart from the ones I might assemble myself from leftovers). Any leads?

The Everyday is Thanksgiving sandwich is my favorite and fits your bill.
Sandwell has two Thanksgiving sandwiches, the Ross and the Rachel. I haven’t tried them so can’t say how good they are but I probably will stop by for them soon.
They used fried chicken instead (but likely can sub turkey) but Comfortland’s is awesome
The Gobbler at Millburn Deli (multiple locations in NJ) is the best sandwich on planet earth.
Ok so not a sandwich but Sweet Afton in Astoria usually does thanksgiving egg rolls. Egg roll filled with turkey, stuffing, mashed potato, and cranberry sauce. They give you gravy for dipping and it’s so good I dream about it all year til it goes on the menu for thanksgiving.

I had Mighty Quinn’s BBQ yesterday. The smoked turkey was great, the stuffing was gross to me (way too soft/mushy).
Comptons Thanksgiving sandwich
I’m actually doing this for Thanksgiving day this year – ordering a Peking duck from Phillipe the day before & picking up a bunch of rustic baguettes from Cannelle. For a riff on leftover banh mi on Thanksgiving day.
Horsefeathers in Tarrytown. All their turkey based sandwhiches are amazing.

The Carmela at Edith’s should be coming back to their menu soon, I know it’s something they do every year around Thanksgiving.

It usually doesn’t come around until the day after, but Court Street Grocers has the best one I’ve ever had.
Why cant we all just accept that Thanksgiving food is not good? Dry turkey, old lady gravy, and nasty ass cranberry sauce. It’s terrible.
Insane to me. Starch on starch on bread. So weird.
The Millburn Deli in Millburn NJ does an amazing Turkey Gobbler sandwich.
Comfortland had a really good one the other week as a special, not sure if its still on
