Here’s my very first shoyu ramen ever. I didn’t add many toppings, but I think the essentials are there.

    This is good BECAUSE you didnt add many toppings. There seems to be a terrible international trend that ramen is about toppings no its about the broth and noodles – we must not allow what has happened to pizza where they pit bbq bacon pineaple honey yankeydankey doodle piece of fuqin shieyt – to happend to ramen

    OK, but what’s up with the noodles? That looks like skinny (dried) udon, or maybe the S/M sized rice noodles. The color, shape, and texture all looks like non-ramen.

    I think the amount of topping is fine though.
