Yorkshire puddings with your Christmas dinner can be somewhat of a controversial choice as they are traditionally not served with turkey, which is what many families opt to eat on the big day. The delicious fluffy pudding, which dates back to 1747, is typically served with beef but was actually originally filled with gravy as an appetiser to feed hungry stomachs as meat was too expensive.
However, these days, Yorkshire Puddings are more of an addition to the meal rather than a starter but they are still used to fill with gravy and love it or hate it, they are now a staple for many on their Christmas dinner plates.
This year, some social media creators have been getting creative and adding a festive twist to their Yorkies. Just when you thought there could be nothing better than a traditional Yorkshire pudding covered in gravy, tiktokers have created a stuffed Yorkshire pudding – filled with honey covered pigs in blankets, stuffing brie and covered in gravy.
Better yet, these delicious stuffed puddings take just six minutes to make in the air fryer. Food content creator Nathan Anthony, who goes by the handle @boredoflunch online, often shares creative meals and dinner time inspiration for when your diet is getting a little repetitive.
