I loved their jjajangmyeon when I first went, so I had to go back for the jjamppong. The jjamppong is delicious, the broth is a little spicy and so savory. It’s a huge portion for $18, with some mussels, squid, but sadly only 1 shrimp. This has so many onions, sometimes I got a mouthful of onions instead of noodles lol, I liked it though. The only thing they skimped on is the shrimp

That is a sad bowl of jjamppong
Looks great! Nice seeing more Korean-Chinese options in this sub.
Octo in ktown also has really solid seafood jjamppong for similar price
I love kyodong, their spicy jjm and stir fried jjampong are great too.
I also love their tansuyok (deep fried pork with pineapple sticky sauce) yum!
Honestly, I’m glad you liked it OP, but IMO this place isn’t very good. Like you said they skimp on the seafood — mussels and squid are dirt cheap and they load it up with onions and veg to make it look like a better portion than it is.
Also whenever I order their tangsooyook their sauce comes out gloppy as hell (I’m pretty sure they batch it beforehand and keep warm), so take that for whatever it’s worth.
Is that in the H-Mart food court?
