Hey friends, I’m making this buffalo pulled chicken recipe and it says to use the slow cooker on low for 7-8 hours. Will the recipe get messed up if I cook it on high for shorter time and any suggestions on how long to cook on high? Would 5 hours be enough? Thank you!!

    Yeah you’d be fine. If you’re pressed for time just precook the chicken or get canned. Then all you have to do its “heat it through”.

    You’re cooking chicken breasts I would cut the entire time back to probably 5-6 hrs max. You can cook it on low for that amount of time or you can cook it on high for probably 4 hours no more than that. Chicken breast are just not made for long cooking times the way boneless skinless chicken thighs would be.
