Hey y'all!
I posted my stats a few months ago from my time trying 20+ burgers across NYC in a burger league. It was incredible and filled with amazing memories. I'll never forget it lol. I ended up scoring each burger by ingredient use, juiciness, ambience of restaurant etc so I could determine which place overall I liked best, and which burger had the best bang per buck
Here's my final ranking for those curious! And if you want to see the raw data and play around with it, it's here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1TvWEVLdeG5NZb-I-Q1YbyeMmm0AZep9sfYDauH3DsAk/edit?usp=sharing
So I asked the organizers whether they're going to do another burger league, and they are! This is the link for their waitlist sign up: https://www.blackbird.xyz/burgerleague2026 . The memberships I think start selling next week
The format and price is different from last time, but this is the low-down: basically it will be 12 burger league dinner parties across famous burger places (e.g. Red Hook Tavern, Peter Luger's, Rolo's etc). In addition to the burger, looks like you'll also get sides included (this was different from last time, where it was just the burger). Overall the pricing is more expensive than last time, but sounds like it'll be more social and you'll get the sides which is nice. I think it could still be really fun. I myself am taking a break from burgers for a while so I won't be doing it lol!
My personal recommendation (which I did for the previous burger league) is that you find a friend to split the burger league membership with, and then embark on a journey of a lifetime with them. It's also nice because it creates an epic standing hang, and someone you can compare and contrast burgers with
Have fun! 🍔🍔
