

I have been slowly digging down the coffee rabbit hole for a while now… French Press, Cold Brew, Pour Over and then AeroPress. Espresso was the next step.
Picked up a Bambino Plus on sale and found a Mazzer Mini with the WYS Doserless Mod for $350.
Couple things I learned today:
The Mazzer is a bit of a pain in the ass when it comes to retention, but when I got the process down and learned the angles on the Rocket Blower, I got it down to 0.1 – 0.2 g. I can live with that for what I paid.
Grind size matter. Started to coarse and the bottomless portafilter sprayed all over the place.
Adjusting too much wasted more coffe than I would have like. Should have done smaller increments.
Finally got a decent shot, but there is more work to do.
