Watch 12 Days of Memphis: A Bluff City carol

The Freedom Singers of the Center for Transforming Communities preform the Commercial Appeal’s “12 Days of Memphis” carol directed by Justin Merrick

Ray Padilla, Memphis Commercial Appeal

With presents to wrap, trees to decorate and relatives to entertain, Christmas is busy enough before even thinking about cooking.

Several Memphis restaurants are serving up to-go meals for Christmas breakfast and dinner to help take a little bit of stress out of the holiday, though for some the deadline to order is rapidly approaching.

If you’re looking to sit back, relax and watch “Die Hard” with the family (yes, it’s a Christmas movie) without spending hours cooking, here are some local options for holiday meals to bring home in your sleigh.

Bog & Barley

6150 Poplar Ave. | (901) 805-2262 | bogandbarley.com

Bog & Barley is offering turkey and ham by the pound this Christmas, with other items including sweet potato mash with pecan streusel, honey glazed carrots, Guinness chocolate cake, Irish bread pudding and more. Pickup is from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Dec. 24.

Char

431 S. Highland St. | (901) 249-3533 | memphis.charrestaurant.com

If you already have the ham covered, Char is ready to help with sweets, starters and sides. The restaurant is offering two starters: cornbread muffins or crab, shrimp and andouille gumbo. Family-style sides include mashed or sweet potatoes, creamed spinach and cornbread dressing. A whole pecan pie is also available. The order deadline is Dec. 22.

Commissary

2290 S. Germantown Road, Germantown, and 3573 S. Houston Levee Road, Collierville | commissarybbq.com

Grab a honey smoked spiral sliced ham for $90 or a smoked turkey for $80 at this barbecue staple. Sides include sweet potato casserole and dressing. The order deadline is Dec. 22.

Corky’s

Multiple locations | corkysbbq.com

Corky’s always sells a wide range of holiday meal options, from pie combos to smoked turkey and ham. While the deadline has passed for local pickup, there’s still time to place an order to be shipped. You can check out the full menu and order at corkysbbq.com/ship-our-bbq/holidays-feast.

Curb Side Casseroles

5130 Wheelis Drive | 901-761-0287 | curbsidecasseroles.com

Curb Side Casseroles has an extensive Christmas menu this holiday season, with nine appetizers, 15 sides and a main course that includes smoked turkey breast, chicken and dressing, brown sugar glazed ham or roasted pork tenderloin. Place orders online, in-store or at the drive-thru.

Feast & Graze

109 S. Highland, Suite 103 | 901-654-5926 | feastandgraze.com

Feast and Graze’s custom holiday charcuterie boards are here, stuffed to the brim with cured meats, premium cheeses, olives, fruit, chocolate and more, naturally in the shape of a Christmas tree.

Katie’s Kitchen

9056 Poplar Pike, Germantown | (901) 754-8444 | katieskitchengtown.com

There are plenty of delicious sides to go around at Katie’s, from carrot souffle to creamed spinach and much more. There are also some breakfast options to enjoy as you open presents. In addition, Katie’s is offering a limited quantity of hams from the Rendezvous. The order deadline is Dec. 17.

Maeve’s Tavern

78 N. Main St., Collierville | (901) 403-5100 | maevestavern.com

Maeve’s Tavern is offering the same to-go holiday menu as its sister restaurant Bog & Barley — ham and turkey by the pound, mashed and sweet potatoes, honey glazed carrots, Irish bread pudding and more. Pickup times are also the same, 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Dec. 24.

The Four Way

998 Mississippi Blvd. | 901-507-1519 or 901-305-4488 | fourway901.com
