If you’re the hired grunt, congrats on the viral TikTok’s.

If you’re a business owner, congrats on the viral TikTok’s,. But this is one of those cases where you pay a guy $20 an hour to move wood.. and your brain power is worth way more than that.

  3. kipdjordy

Don’t have an issue with your wood being wet?

  4. 007Cable

You know you can also stack wood at other times of the day.

  5. The_Golden_Warthog

    What kind of wood?

    That fuckin blows lol

Oh, also, how long did this take? It went from completely dark, through golden hour, and into the morning. So I’m guessing roughly 2 – 3hr? Maybe 4 – 6am/7am-ish?

A nice cover over the actual Wood is kinda needed..
Like would solve tons of problems…

Where was this ‘Snow Storm’ ?

  8. oh_look_a_fist

My wife: you’re supposed to do that gently.

    Me: fine, you do it

Her, 6 minutes later: *chucking logs*

Question from a novice smoker who uses wood chips only. Do you strip the bark before you burn?

I’ve done a little research and find it’s a mixed bag. Some say yes, some say it doesn’t matter. I would think it’s better to strip the bark before. The way bark burns is different of course and it is exposed to the elements. I would think stripping the bark makes for a more consistent burn and reduces unwanted flavors and less bitterness.

Reddit, please don’t throw me under the bus here…

  10. Why wait for the snow to desecrate this beautiful lumber before stacking it?

  11. AnAppalacianWendigo

Bro, did no one tell you?

Sorry man, you stacked the wood facing north/south, and it needs to be stacked east/west.

    See you at 4a.

Nice job. Earned a nice plate of bbq after all that work.

  13. Oct0tron

No thanks. It was satisfying to watch you do it though.

What’s up with all the Tik toks throwing shit. Good videos – throwing. Gun videos – throwing. Wood videos – throwing. Not body put stuff down normally anymore?

  15. vandyfan35

Wait, I was under the impression that you can’t grill or smoke if it’s kind of cold outside. I thought you had to winterize and store all grilling and smoking devices this time of year.

A job where you have to handle the same heavy material more than once is my least favorite! Putting up hay tops that list, with stacking firewood not far behind

  17. AndrewBales69

Goddamn your movements piss me off. Dude it’s 4am stop throwing shit when you don’t need to. Other people have jobs they need sleep for
