I am a 25 male and ever since my mexican female ex from a few years ago I have had an addiction to Mexican style food ❤️😂. Her family was from Puebla and Oaxaca and I would eat so freakin much.

Real street style tacos and her grandmothers chiles rellanos and mole are my addiction. I will show what I’ve been making for tacos but I will never be able to understand the chiles or mole recipe.

My ex’s grandmother would make chiles rellanos more as a soup style in a bowl with a lot of broth made from salsa style veggies and chicken bouillon. The chiles were stuffed with cheese per usual but the off part was that she would fry queso (blanco/fresco?) in little squares and then add that fried cheese to the soup/broth and would serve it as this thick, cheesy brothy soup with the stuffed chile. It would make this amazing thick fried cheesy peppery soup. Has anyone ever tried that or have a recipe for something similar??? Im lost and cannot contact said ex anymore lol but her and her family’s cooking was AMAZING! It seems like a one off thing that maybe jjst her grandma did bur idk, I HAVE to know.
