A few months back a gentleman on this sub posted about El Sazon De La Suegra and a lot of us had never heard of it. Apparently it’s hard to get outside of Arizona and Mexico. This kind gent agreed to send some bottles to those of us who requested it. I got mine today, along with a really delicious bonus homemade prickly pear syrup, and I absolutely love it. It’s vinegar-forward with a great medium-to-kinda hot heat. It’s relatively thin in terms of mouthfeel, but that makes sense because of the vinegar. It’s like this perfect mid ground between Mexican salsa and traditional hot sauce. Thank you to the very generous Redditor for sending this. When it’s gone I’ll be very sad.

I still have some left in my bottle that my BIL brought me from Sonora, Mexico. It has a very peculiar taste, I love it. Not very spicy, maybe 2/10 for me but flavor complements a lot of types of foods. Enjoy!!
