Long time lurker, first time posting:

I wanted to craft a salted caramel cookie but I’m stubborn so I first learned how to make my own caramels from scratch…then I modified multiple chocolate chip cookie recipes until I achieved a good balance of flavors without being overly sweet (browned butter & a mix of dark chocolate were clutch), let the dough rest in the fridge overnight, shoved a caramel in the middle, slapped it on the pan, sprinkled some salt as they came out of the oven and voila!

(Tips/comments/suggestions welcomed & appreciated, but like my cookies I am soft so please be kind 🥲)

These look so high end and what you would pay for in an expensive cafe! I would totally buy these off you. That’s amazing that you made your own caramel for them!
