Recently got into drinking single shots ( stock single shot basket) I'm doing 7g in and 28 out. That's 1/4 ratio with Italian espresso beans (arabica, robusta mix). Im drinking around 1 single shot an hour when I'm home. Lol. It's absolutely delicious, very syrupy and addictive. Shots came out creamy and no different that the double shot ( grind setting is exactly the same form my double, I just put 14in the double stock basket and have 56g out). I do have the ims baskets but stock baskets produces a more creamy and balanced shot from their conical shape.
Any single shooters here ? ( Coffee shooters lol)

I do sometimes, but it’s the opposite for me, instead of lungo pulls I’m doing double ristreto(ish) pulls. 14g in 14-21 out depending on the blend. I’ve been mostly drinking Neapolitan coffees
People talk so much shit about Robusta. Is it really that bad?? That shot looks amazing, I want to try a robusta+arabica blend.

i use ims single basket on pavoni and sometimes it’s good sometimes it’s not. i have more experience and am more reliable with double basket so I end up going up most of the time to double. But i swear one day i will figure it out 😂
I do singles to limit my caffeine intake.
Two singles = one double. So I get to drink twice a day vs. just once.
which basket and beans do you use? I mean which 7gm basket do you use?
