I am a big fan of chicken and a good Aldi salad kit. I also love the boneless chiickens with marinade on basmati

I treat the salad kits and a rotisserie chicken from the grocery store as my “fast food” as a way to try and eat healthier.
Maybe I’ll add some black beans and cheese to make it all an entree salad meal.

Meal prep is meal prep. No way you’d spend more money buying those bags of salad rather than going out to a fast food place on your lunch. Baby steps.

Since you’re buying a few at a time, I would recommend opening the bags, placing a paper towel in each (it helps with absorbing moisture to avoid wilting) and then closing and clipping it so that way they stay fresh longer! I started using this hack when I learned about it and it actually works.

God I miss these so much. Moved to Japan and hearty salad kits like this are nonexistent.Â
I eat the poppyseed kale one whenever we visit the US.Â

I was so resistant to them, really any bagged greens, for the longest time, due to all of the recalls.
Once I gave in, it was a game changer. I love having salad around that only takes a second, and I have a variety of proteins I’ll use. I love the Aldi vegan taco meat with the southwest salad kit. I’ll add other stuff too, but those are awesome

Can also throw into tortillas to make wraps with all the fixings in the kits or add some chicken if needed.
