Messiah Lutheran Church in Aledo will hold its annual Community Christmas Dinner again this year.
2025 marks the 49th year that the church has provided free Christmas meals to local families. As they’ve done the last handful of years, all meals will be done by delivery or carry-out. All deliveries must be within the city limits of Aledo. Deliveries begin at noon, and carry-out orders can be picked up starting at 1 p.m. on Christmas Day.
Kyle Koresko helps organize the effort each year. He says it’s a meaningful event that the church puts on.
The meal includes turkey, ham, mashed potatoes and gravy, a roll, pie, salad, and cranberry sauce.
