My grandfather has a garden and got pepper seeds from a friend but doesn't know what they are exactly. He forbid me to eat one whole (he said I would die LOL) so I tasted one behind his back and I found it very spicy but not very long lasting. Does anybody know what they are?

They look like Tabascos.
One of countless Capsicum anuum varieties/cultivars.
Nearly impossible to identify exactly which one without tracking provenance – they’re all very similar though and are somewhat interchangeable in use.
