Written recipe:
Vegan Honeycomb (Quantities make the amount shown in the video/1 large dish worth)
Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups (300g) Sugar,
2 tbsp (40ml) Golden Syrup,
2 tbsp (40ml) Water,
1 tsp Bicarbonate Soda,
Method:
Measure the bicarb soda and line the dish/bowl first.
To a medium pot, add sugar, golden syrup and water, stir constantly to dissolve over low heat.
Once dissolved stop stirring, gradually increase the heat, add thermometer, and heat until 150C or 300F.
Turn off heat, add bicarb soda, whisk vigorously so it mixes through completely.
Pour into large lined dish/bowl. Allow to cool for an hour or two or until hard, smash into pieces.
Store in an airtight container at room temperature and enjoy!
