Somebody moved out and left this in my yard.
I was gonna chunk it or try and get a few bucks until I saw that it might be more than a few bucks.
What would you do if you were me?

Do I throw it away?
Put it on the curb for $25?
Put the time in energy in to cleaning it to make some cash.
I would rather put some time and effort into it to get some money, it’s just that I don’t want it to be too much time or effort for the return.

  1. If you need a grill and just want something there to use, clean out and get new grates if the shell is solid. However, mileage may vary and as another commenter noted, may be a gonner

So $15 as is. Or is 25 OK if I put about 30 minutes into cleaning it?

That is not a goner. The grate looks like it’s in decent shape. I would scrub it down with a brillo pad or steel wool. Douse it in canola oil. Light up the grill. Burn off the oil. Put baking soda paste(baking soda and water). Scrub it down again. Put some more oil on it and put it on the flame again. It should be good. Might look good after the first time on the fire.
You could hit the plastic on the lid with a brillo pad also then put some canola oil on it and wipe it off. Should bring that plastic back to life.

New to this awesome sub. What makes this a possible “goner“ or not worth the time?
