A chef says a Christmas dinner hack could framitically cut how much time you spend in teh kitchen at Christmas as people hunt for quicker, easier alternatives to the traditional roast. Gousto’s Festive Feasting research found a third of UK households spend 3–4 hours cooking on Christmas Day.

But chef Sophie Nahmad says Christmas Stuffing Balls – ready in under 30 minutes – deliver all the flavours of a roast with a fraction of the effort.

Sophie, Lead Recipe Developer at Gousto, said: “Stuffing Balls are the ultimate Christmas shortcut. You get all the flavour and nostalgia of a roast, the herbs, the juicy meat, the festive aroma, without the long prep or hours in the oven. Whether you’re cooking for two or eight, you just make what you need. They crisp beautifully and look amazing piled high on a platter.”

She added: “If you don’t have time for a full turkey, or simply want to cut down your kitchen hours, Christmas Turkey Stuffing Balls are the answer. Mix turkey mince, sausage meat, sage, onion and breadcrumbs, roll into balls and roast until golden. They’re ready in under 30 minutes, and you can prep them ahead. It’s hosting, made easy.”
