The Conservas de Cambados tin is 16-22 fish. I found their packaging kind of odd with the net around the tin
I learned from the box that Matiz is pronounced “ma-TEETH”
I have 3 of each of these varieties of Matiz but only one of the CdC. The Matiz were $5.29 CAD each and the CdC tin was $13.99 (with free shipping from Well.ca)

The CdC is very nice/fancy as you might have guessed from the price. Lots of perfect itty bitty fish. The net thing is a bit weird, if you pull on it the metal clips on the side will let go it’s actually pretty easy to deal with.
Matiz is a solid mid tier brand. I love their cockles and cod. Their sardines are fine. I don’t know that I’ve had those exact ones. Piri Piri are usually good flavor, not super hot. Lemon some people like but the tinning process definitely affects the flavor and I’d rather just add fresh lemon but see what you think. It won’t be bad or anything.

I had some of the Matiz lemon yesterday. For the price I wasn’t terribly impressed, but they’re not bad.

All winners. LOVE the Matiz with piri piri. It’s not hot at all, but a nice warm touch

The first time I had the Matiz piri piri I woke up in the middle of the night in a completely dark room and they were on a plate next to me with some crackers. I hadn’t eaten dinner so I was a little hungry. I rolled over and sat up (I’m not a savage) and told myself just a nibble, you know to get me through till the morning. Next thing I know it’s time to get up and my face and sheets are covered in a ruby colored oil. I haven’t looked back since, and those sheets were never the same.
