We got some very good coffee at Avondale Coffee Club but wanted breakfast so kind of randommed into Wolfhound Bar & Kitchen across the way and found one of the better fry ups I’ve had in Chicago.
Good four pork breakfast (sausage, bacon, black and white pudding, I think Winston’s) mushrooms & tomato’s and batchelors beans. Good toast too! Only slight knock on it would be that I’d take a fried slice over taters but it was a damn good plate of food that checked all the fry up boxes and distracted from the Bears giving up a TD on the opening kickoff. Brown sauce aplenty and a good pint of Guinness as well.
They also do a full Irish sandwich we saw go past that looked pretty epic. Really nice staff, good little spot!
