    That’s basically how I do it. I also make an herb aioli to spread on the bread before adding the beef.

    Edit: oh yeah and I add caramelized onions.

    Right when I decided to skip on this for myself and just make a home made pizza I sit down to eat and see this 🤤 literally drove 45 mins home thinking about how good a nice roast beef dipper would be but knew I didn’t have the time to slow cook and store bought roast beef doesn’t do it justice.. that looks delicious OP

    Add 2 jars with juice of giardiniera and a packet of good seasons Italian and it’s perfect. I make this all the time and always a hit. Nothing like Mississippi pot roast-which I think us a big nothingburger
