Major supermarket Morrisons has launched a new festive-inspired item across stores and shoppers already saying they “need” it for Christmas.
Morrisons has combined two popular food items to create their Garlic Butter Dough Ball & French Camembert Wreath – a new Christmas-themed treat which shoppers say they “need” for the big day. The £6.50 item features a Camembert centre surrounded by garlic-topped dough balls, to create a festive-inspired wreath shape.
Since spotting the item on Morrisons’ shelves, shoppers have been sharing their excitement for the Garlic Butter Dough Ball & French Camembert Wreath, with many taking to social media to suggest the item would be “good for Christmas”.
On the popular Facebook page Newfoodsuk, many shoppers have been sharing their delight at Morrisons’ new Garlic Butter Dough Ball & French Camembert Wreath. On the page, one shopper, Taiya Caffrey-Hall, suggested the item could be the “most beautiful sight” they had “ever seen”.
Another shopper, Atty Truscott, then added: “I’d die eating all that cheese but it looks so good”, as another shopper, Charlotte Brill, said the item “looks unreal”.
Shoppers have also been quick to suggest the item is a “need” for Christmas, with many suggesting they will be heading to Morrisons to pick up the festive treat.
Sharing their excitement for the item, one shopper, Amber Gallagher, wrote: “I wanna try this”, while shopper, Laura Singleton, added: “need this for Christmas”.
Another shopper, Danielle Ray, also added: “I feel a little trip to Morrisons at the weekend!”

The new Morrisons’ Garlic Butter Dough Ball & French Camembert Wreath comes to stores as many supermarkets begin launching a range of festive food in preparation for the Christmas season. With cheese boards being a Christmas staple for many families, many supermarkets, like Morrisons, have begun launching a range of cheesy festive food.
Supermarket competitor Asda recently announced they would be launching a new range of Christmas cheese truckles in preparation for the big day, including some new ‘first-to-market’ festive flavours such as ‘Pigs In Blankets’ and ‘Gingerbread’ flavoured cheeses.
New for 2025, Asda revealed it would be launching its new Pigs In Blankets Flavour Cheddar Truckle featuring bacon flavoured Cheddar accompanied by sweet Maple Syrup alongside its new Gingerbread Flavour Cheddar Truckle, which comes in the shape of a gingerbread man and features Cheddar with crystallised ginger and cinnamon.
Marks & Spencer has also revealed a new unique cheese side dish to its festive food range for 2025.
The supermarket announced its new pigs in blankets and mac & cheese side, combining the two popular Christmas dishes together. The store’s Pigs In Blankets Mac & Cheese features a mozzarella and Cheddar cheese sauce, topped with smoked bacon, cheese and cranberries.
Morrisons has now launched their Garlic Butter Dough Ball & French Camembert Wreath in stores and online, which can be picked up for £6.50.
