I’ve been lurking in this subreddit for a while and I’ve heard a lot of great things about this sauce, so I went out to get it and wow this is so freaking good. I just put it over eggs to have something that wouldn’t cut the flavor.
I mainly have only had the typical hot sauces like crystal, Louisiana, cholula and Tabasco so this was an amazing switch.

It’s a fantastic sauce to start your journey. A little tomato forward in the flavor department for me to be putting it on everything, but others will disagree and say it’s for anything.
I recommend trying the green one with nopal if you like salsa verde and want to stay in the same brand. Slightly less spicy, but amazing flavor.
Thats a great sauce! Definitely one id recommend to people who have only tried the basic sauces.
I find myself just…slathering my food in this stuff. The heat level is such that I can tolerate a LOT of it and I love the flavor. The carrots really give it a nice flavor.
Check out El Yucatecco XXX Hot
Dont be alarmed, its really no hotter than the normal Yucatecco red and green sauces. To me, at least. But the flavor…oh its good
I wish “No Wimps” was still easy to find. I haven’t seen it on shelves in years, by far my favorite Marie Sharp’s
I’ll send YOU to Belize.
One of my faves and a staple in the fridge! So glad you enjoyed it! It’s great on pizza!
I love to see people expanding their hot sauce horizons, but be cautious. It can get expensive fast if you aren’t careful. Be judicious and probably set limits on how many bottles to have total until you use one up.
I may or may not have experience in this matter.
I haven’t found a Marie Sharps that I haven’t enjoyed.
If you like Marie Sharps (and who doesn’t) I recommend the mango habanero.
I started with Belizean Heat and now 6 months later I’m mainlining their Red Hornet sauce. The true gateway drug 😅
Dude I went out looking for Marie Sharps today, but no luck yet.
I like the taste but this stuff smells like sweaty armpits
