
As the title says, I got my first espresso machine recently as a gift from my fiancé, as she was probably sick of hearing about that “perfect cup of coffee I had that day at my cousins house” and let me tell you, I LOVE THIS THING.
I am by no means a espresso cappuccino wizard with the designs yet by any means, but it’s fun learning how to make coffee that is not only delicious, but is saving me from future pricey Starbucks visits.

Definitely don’t start watching James Hoffman videos, or even Lance Hedrick. Stay away from flavor profile charts, and definitely don’t look at upgrading your grinder. Never look at puck prep accessories.

I love the way the espresso machine is shaped like a mug of coffee. How did they hide all the hardware? Is there a hidden door that hides the e71 or is it a saturated group?
The Delonghi Classica is such a pretty machine.
I have one of its younger siblings. A common “hack” with Delonghi machines I would suggest you do is removing the outer attachment on the milk frother. You get a bit more control without it. Just zip tie the inner bit so it doesn’t fly away.
