A few weeks ago, I hosted Ristorante LUCCA’s Traditional Italian Sunday Dinner — and we really packed the house!

It was great to see so many listener families connecting over traditional Italian favorites like housemade fresh pasta and the best braciole sauce I’ve ever had. Families young and older, including a few toddlers in high chairs, enjoyed all the traditional trappings expertly prepared in fine dining standards. Many went home with leftovers, too.

Ristorante LUCCA offers this family-style dinner each Sunday from 3-9 p.m., with live piano music starting at 5 p.m. The cost is $49 per person, while children 10 and younger cost $19, excluding beverages and alcohol. The meal includes:

Garden salad and breadMeat and cheese boardSpaghetti or rigatoni with raguMeatballs, Italian sausages, and bracioleDessert: Tiramisu, mini cannolis, and ice cream

If you haven’t tried the traditional Sunday dinner, I can’t recommend it enough. It’s great for a special family occasion or simply a great option when you don’t feel like making dinner at home.
