ROGERS COUNTY, Okla. — Families across Rogers County will be able to have a traditional Christmas dinner thanks to Share the Spirit Rogers County.
On Friday, Christmas food boxes were handed out in Claremore, Inola, Catoosa, Oologah and Chelsea.
FOX23 visited the Claremore pick-up location and spoke with Share the Spirit President Dan Delozier about how the process works.
“To be able to get these, what they have to do is they call in and there’s three numbers that they call in,” said Delozier. “There’s a certain amount of time that we give them to sign up for these and then the last week, like right now, we put it all together and get it done.”
The Christmas boxes included turkey, corn, green beans and everything else families need to make their Christmas dinner special this holiday season.
