These Italian almond cookies are a lifesaver dessert you can make in 30 minutes with one bowl and five simple ingredients—soft, comforting, and perfect for stress-free holidays or last-minute guests.

Let me show you how to make easy, festive, and delicious Italian almond cookies with my nonas recipe. You’ll need almond flour, powdered sugar, orange zest, egg white, and a little honey. Mix until it comes together. Then roll it into small balls and coat them in powdered sugar. Line up on a baking sheet and push down in the center with your thumb. Bake for about 12 minutes. Easy right.

  1. What's the difference between ground almonds and almond flour in assuming the flour is finer never seen it in UK

  2. I made these and they turned out fantastic.
I used 1/3 of the sugar and I made it with lemon instead of orange as we had no oranges.
I will make them again but this time add a little dash of lemon juice

    Thanks Nico and Louise 🌷

  3. I love these Italien Cookies so much!

  4. In case anyone is wondering you can replace the egg white with flax egg, and honey with corn syrup, molasses or maple syrup. It will have a slightly different flavor. Corn syrup is the closest to the original.

  5. I'm going to make these tomorrow! Can you confirm the amount of orange zest? I know it says one orange but how much should it yield? Oranges come in various sizes.

  6. Almond flour is so underrated. They’re so mini , I love it. Looks so simple & delicious. I’ll have to try it with maple syrup.

  7. Yeah we got five ingredients but how much of all the ingredients do we need and how high to cook the oven for 12 minutes?

  8. I saved your recipe to my email so I can come back and fix them cuz I got all the ingredients but I don't know how much of each one to use
