I made the signature dessert from ancient Rome, globi. Globi are made from a dough of ricotta cheese (the closest modern equivalent of the cheese used for these in ancient Rome) and spelt flour, deep fried in olive oil, dipped in honey, and topped with poppy seeds. They are a unique item if you have a sweet tooth but dont want the modern processed and refined sugar!
